Senior Tax Manager
Melanie graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in accounting. She has over twenty years work experience in bookkeeping and account production with a diverse range of clientele.
Melanie’s attention to detail and ability to work through large volume complex accounts, has seen her progress quickly through the practice to senior management level.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading and taking her golden retriever for long walks and her infectious personality makes her very popular with the rest of the staff.
Senior Accounts Manager
Alex is a self-confessed workaholic and worked in a number of jobs simultaneously from her early teens prior to joining the practice. She is mainly involved in the accounts production for the non-VAT registered businesses where her ability to pick things up quickly and attention to detail are invaluable.
Alex is studying towards her AAT examinations and has been very successful thus far resulting in her being awarded the Modern Apprentice of the Year for 2022 by her training provider, Virtual Learning Academy. The technical knowledge gained from her studies will complement her ongoing development from working in the office.
Alex also has direct responsibility for managing the steady influx of work experience and young apprentices who have shown an interest in working in the practice. She deals directly with the local high school to help young people manage their career ambitions and any students who come into the business, get assistance with their initial training and choosing a course of studies best suited to their abilities and ambitions.
